This Blog is, simply put, my mixed up thoughts put down on 'screen'. I was diagnosed with bipolar type II in July/06. This has caused me to rethink a lot of things, and so I have a lot on my mind these days...
Hi Shebee, Thanks for the wonderful video of "How Great is our God" with the movie- The Passion of Jesus Christ, as the background. Truly God is so great that He sent His only begotten Son to save the world from sin and eternal damnation.
Modern man could not comprehend the idea of grace whereby man is saved by grace thru faith in Jesus Christ. They just could not accept the idea of vicarious atonement whereby Somebody else would pay for their sins with His own life. But that's how great our God is. He knew we could never save our own selves from our depraved conditions so He sacrificed His own Son who died on the cross in our place.
All we have to do is accept God's gift of salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, confess our sins and let His most precious blood wash away even the deepest sins we have.
We can truly say, how great is our God.
Thanks for the very inspiring video. You made my day. God bless you with all the grace and tender mercies He has in store for you.
Hi Shebee, I found myself returning again and again to your blog to listen to that wonderful song "How Great Is Our God." I also find myself glued to the passion scenes of the movie "The Passion of Jesus Christ." It stirs the never ending longing in me to see Him face to face. I hope and pray that more and more people will visit your blog and be carried too by the powerful message of the song.
May more and more souls be carried to the feet of our beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by the gospel message of that song.
God bless you with more revelations and wisdom from the Holy Spirit.
Thank you very much Mel - your blog inspired me to post that video! I saw your hillsongs posts and thought, "hey, what a great idea!" Thanks for your encouraging words :) Thnaks Marja too for the encouragement and care you always show me :)
I am a 31 year old woman living in BC, Canada. I live the roles of Christian, wife, step-mom, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, and soon to be 'mommy'.
I was diagniosed with depression and anxiety in 2002, but had dealt with the symptoms since I was 14. Even though I was on meds and they seemed to help a bit, I still suffered. In the summer of 2006 I was finally properly diagnosed with BP type II. Two years later, I am still reeling from the news...it's a fight for acceptance every day.
